This course is aimed at those people who, on the one hand, want to focus their professional career on teaching children, as well as those professionals who wish to consolidate and perfect their previous knowledge, and in this way improve their working position in the sector.

Is this course right for me?

To access this course, no prior knowledge in Early Childhood Education is necessary, so it is not required to be in possession of any official qualification. This course is aimed mainly at people who want to specialize in the techniques of caring for the little ones, or at any professional who wants to complement their academic training or who comes from another sector.

What will you achieve with this training?

The course is designed so that at the end of the training period the student can:

Know and correctly use the educational resources intended for the care of children from their early years.
Manage and resolve unexpected or conflict situations that may arise between children, or between family members, in a peaceful manner, promoting social integration practices and socialization strategies.
Learn the basic occupational risk prevention activities applicable to educational centers where children are located.
Design and execute programs to improve educational quality based on the results and objectives stipulated by the educational center.

Training accreditation

At the end of the development of the training action, if the evaluation criteria described above are met and the internship is carried out satisfactorily, you will receive within a maximum period of one month a certificate that will accredit the training received and complement your professional curriculum.

Method

The training action that you are preparing to carry out is taught in the blended modality (theory in teletraining and in-person practices). The teletraining part is characterized by great flexibility in its development, allowing you to follow your own work pace. It is a type of learning with a high component of autonomy that requires self-demand on the part of the student and good planning. Now, to achieve the training objectives you will not be alone; You will have the support of your tutor and your teacher, who will help you get the most out of the course. For the study to be effective, we advise you to follow the following guidelines:

Be in an environment favorable to study and have a computer equipment (PC or tablet) with the appropriate features.
Dedicate the necessary hours to your training and be consistent in complying with them.
You must carefully read each teaching unit or topic, collecting any doubts that may arise in order to then resolve them with your teacher. You must make possible practical assumptions or partial questionnaires in order to strengthen the theoretical concepts studied and finally, be able to complete the final questionnaires. that will serve to evaluate the development of the course as a whole.
Think that this planning will help you make better use of your time, avoiding hesitations and, on the other hand, it will create a habit that will result in regularity at work.

Training timing

THEORETICAL TRAINING

Access to the training itinerary is done in teletraining mode, with the advantage that the teletraining platform will be available 24 hours a day between the start date and the end date indicated in this didactic guide. The assigned tutor will, however, be aware of your access to the training itinerary. We recommend proportionally distributing the total hours of the course between the start and end dates of the training (remember that you have 6 months to finish the course) and not leaving entry to the course until the last few days, as there is a risk of not being able to meet the minimum levels of evaluation criteria also indicated in this teaching guide.

PRACTICAL TRAINING

As we have already explained in this teaching guide, the duration of the internship will vary depending on the agreement reached in the personal interview between the student and the person in charge of the center, with the minimum number of hours established being 160 hours and the maximum being 480 hours.
What can the student choose regarding his/her practical training?

The area where to do them (city, province, etc.)
The possibility of choosing between full-time (8 hours) or part-time (4 hours).
The date of joining the internship: the most common thing is to do it as soon as the theoretical part is finished, however, the student has 6 months to choose to start it.

Tutoring system

You have a tutoring service at your disposal to raise doubts and queries, whether related to the contents of the training action or management, the means used being the one indicated by your tutors and/or teachers. As a general rule; email, calls, videoconferences, via WhatsApp, etc. You will have your tutor available for everything you need. Your tutor will be aware of the development of your course at all times, it is your obligation to complete the course in its entirety and meet all the evaluation criteria to pass the course.

Evaluation criteria

To pass the course you must:

View 100% of the agenda.
Carry out the practical activities: The practical activities are mandatory deliveries and to pass the course 100% of them must be delivered, with a grade of at least a five (they can be done several times until passing).
Respond to the partial and final questionnaires with a score greater than or equal to five.
Failure to comply with these requirements will imply NOT passing the course and NOT obtaining the certificate.
